nate

This is it!

There is only one slam left in the regular season!

Only one opportunity for poets to jockey for position and find their spots in the CapSlam Semi-Finals in April!

Who will get the nod? Will PrufRock be able to hold off any contenders for the regular season title?

Will the mix of veterans and rookies hold up? Will all the youth poets find their spots?

WHO WILL FORM THE 2014 CAPSLAM TEAM?!!?!

We will find out who is still in the running on MARCH 15th!

But that is not all!

Two poets will officially represent Ottawa Slams at the Canadian Individual Poetry Slam Championship sin Vancouver.

One of them will be Sir Realist, representing Capital Slam.

A former CPC Director, three time CapSlam team member, one time Urban Legends team member. and an important part of our scene and our history.

Come out and support him doing a feature set at the CapSlam regular season finale!

Also, the Urban Legends rep will be chose this week and we will also be inviting THAT poet to feature as well!!

There are five poets who will be guaranteed a spot if they get to the venue before 7pm. They are:

Ali Bumaye
DMP
Alex McDonnell
Avonlea
Nina Strange

Also, there are a bunch of poets who are going to be bringing their A-game to ensure they don’t get bumped out!

This is going to be amazing!

Thank you, as always, to the City of Ottawa for helping us make these shows happen.

March 15th, The Mercury Lounge, Doors and sign-up at 6:30. $8 and free for performers. All -ages welcome.

SEE YOU AT THE MERC!
