Capital Slam Semi-Finals!!

The regular season is over and now it is time for the CAPITAL SLAM semi-finals and finals!

Every year many poets flock to the Capital Slam stage (72 this season!) to share their poetry and try their hand at wowing a captivated audience. At the end of the season we take the top 12 of those poets and they meet to find out who is truly the best. Five of them will make up the new edition of the much acclaimed Capital Slam team and one of them will be crowned, 2012 Capital Slam Champion!

Past years have seen some very big names take the title… John Akpata, Marcus Jameel, Chris Tse, Sense-Say, Free Will and Jim Thomas. This year we have a mix of veteran slammers and new voices and the show is sure to be moving, emotional, exciting and powerful.
